The challenge
Task tracking needs to support repeatable operations as well as one-off assignments, while keeping the deployment under the operator's control.
The approach
Built a self-hosted application around FastAPI, Jinja, SQLAlchemy/SQLite, and APScheduler. The repository documents recurrence, nested subtasks, calendar and mobile views, manager assignment, and administrator tools.
The work today
The codebase includes automated validation, deployment guidance, and a scoped private GPT Actions interface. It provides a concrete example of connecting an operational need to an application with a documented maintenance path.
